The church of San Benedetto Abate of Lugana | Camping Relais San Benedetto

The church of San Benedetto Abate of Lugana is located a few steps from our Camping Village.

It was rebuilt in neoclassical form in 1721, perhaps to replace a previous religious building founded by the Benedictines, whose presence is documented in history and in local archives since 860, the year in which the emperor Ludwig II granted the monks the right fishing in the waters of Lake Garda and the Mincio river.
