Wellbeing on six legs: dog massage therapy sessions

24/07/2026

Wellness doesn't go on holiday. Not even for him!

We know how important it is for you to share special moments with your four-legged friend. That is why we are delighted to present our new canine massotherapy project, realized in collaboration with Valeria (@Valeria_Canismove), a professional in the field.

What is canine massotherapy?
It is a targeted manual treatment that acts on the animal's muscles, joints, and nervous system. It is not just about simple cuddles, but a structured approach using specific techniques to release muscle tension, relieve joint pain, reduce stress, and improve mobility. A journey that involves the dog's entire body, also having a positive impact on their sensory and emotional sphere.

What are the main techniques used?
Musculoskeletal, joint, and fascial treatments, lymphatic drainage, scar tissue treatment, passive stretching, and craniosacral therapy.

Who is it for?
It is ideal for dogs of all ages and needs (puppies, sports dogs, or seniors). It plays a fundamental role in prevention, particularly against stiffness and chronic pain, while also helping to reduce anxiety and stress.

When?
Three exclusive appointments to experience during your stay (or book now to give your companion a special moment of well-being):

Tuesday | Meet-up (6:30 PM) at the pool stage: an informal gathering where Valeria will explain the benefits of this discipline and how it can effectively improve your dog's mobility, mood, and quality of life.
Wednesday | Personalized treatments: treat your dog to a session of pure relaxation directly at your accommodation (mobile home or pitch), at a special rate reserved for our guests. Valeria will be available by appointment from approximately 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM (the treatment lasts about 40 minutes). At the end of the session, you will receive a free simple technique to use in your daily routine.

Who is Valeria?
Hi, I'm Valeria, a canine massotherapist and hydro-massotherapist. Ever since I was a little girl, I have deeply loved animals, especially dogs and horses. I hold certifications both as an equestrian coach and, in the canine field, as a basic dog trainer. I trained at AMA (Academy of Animal Massage) in Canine Massotherapy and Hydromassotherapy, and I am currently continuing my studies with a Master's in Osteopathic techniques. Every massotherapy session brings me joy, and seeing the reaction of the dog—and of their human—is a wonderful, priceless experience. I collaborate with canine centers, veterinarians, dog groomers, and dog-friendly accommodation facilities, and I believe in any form of collaboration related to the dog world and animal welfare. Through Canismove, I would like to convey the message that canine massotherapy is not just cuddling, but actual therapeutic techniques that improve the dog's physical well-being and deepen the emotional connection between dog and human. A dog's body speaks, we just need to know how to listen!
